Except HPQ is a large multinational company that has always had access to the capital markets and is a household name. If you listened to the conference call they were very careful in the words they chose regarding the need for capital. Didn't confirm or deny the need. But we were warned that dilution is coming.
I recently added to an already large position even though they did say that part of the money due in the months ahead to third party could be paid in cash, and stock, and the stock portion to one that they intend to issue is around 14 million dollars. They also have a similar option with another party they will owe in the coming year. As for finances,,,They said currently they did not intend to issue stock for more capital and hoped to skirt by the issue, but did not discount doing so if needed.
