buy AAPL at $130???????? you have to be fucking kidding!!!!
Will NEVER happen. In fact this stock will NEVER drop below $150 again in the history of earth!
It might be a good time to short, but Adami is off his rocker to think $130.
It was a strange call.....unless he is thinking that we will have a "Black Monday" repeat this month. That is how we could conceivably see $130 on a very brief basis.
Maybe he was telling his buddies to get their buy orders set? Was yesterday's strange price action a dry run?
IMO they are running out of time for Apple to have that kind of dip because once the Oct. 22 earnings are out, the analysts will be taking their estimates up once again and the stock will respond, leaving $130 a distant dream.
We have only 7 trading days (including today and Oct. 22) until Apple's earnings are announced. We also have options expiration thrown into the midst of those days.
I expect Apple's stock price to be weird until Oct. 22. Doesn't matter much to me anyway, because I have already locked in my shares and the price swings don't bother me because I have my eye on the next few YEARS. :)
Adami is fit for picking mails sitting next to Dillon. very soon he will picking garbage in the street. What a DUFUS??
He likes MSFT which hardly gives any returns, no dividends..
HE IS ON MY IGNORE LIST... The only good trader left in the show is ME watching it hehehe
So everyone watches the show, yet says that it is horrible at the same time??? If you think they are all idiots why would you even bother paying attention??? Because the one day when they say that everyone should sell everything they own and dump it in apple you will all be saying "OH HELL YEAH, Those guy's finally got it right!!!" Maybe the guy just doesn't feel like apple is a solid trade until it actually pulls back. Sure it has been going up and up and up, but there are plenty of other trades out there, and when a stock pulls back it is typically a great buying opportunity. He's just being a little more conservative, and not just going on blind faith. And the comment about the prof who couldn't make it in the real world who decided to teach? Are you kidding me??? I have had several profs who made a pile of money in the real world, and decided to share their wisdom with a lot of people who could hopefully take it with them and have similar success.
Here's the truth: If these guys were actually good at trading, they wouldn't be on TV. Kinda like the college professor who tried the real world and couldn't do it so he taught instead.
I used to think Adami's picks were reasonable, but I've lost all respect for him now. Too bad Bolling is gone, he was excellent. Macke is a retail junky and the only thing he has working for him this year is ATVI otherwise his record sucks. Najarian's tech plays have worked out but his options focus really hurt him in some ways. I think he's good at hedging. And then there's Finnerman. Has she made a good call yet? Short Bidu? will see.
