Hope that helps...only you know how it will affect you tax-wise, and I know that does not answer your car purchase concern. You may ask yourself, how needed is that car, or is it a 'spoils' type purchase ?
If it is a 'spoils', don't do it, as you will kick yourself later. Many months ago, I had to buy a car as a necessity, and opted for a more conservative, fuel economy car, and am so glad I did, too.
