CBOE needs to extend weekly expiry day til next Tuesday to fulfill 5 trading days for options sold last Friday
Option premiums were priced based on 5 trading days.. Since it is a non scheduled off days, CBOE needs to extend the expiration days to be fair to both option buyers and sellers.. send a request to CBOE expressing concerns about shortening the number of trading days based on the last week premiums.
little guy is their sources of income.. therefore, WS should not biting the hands that feed them.. in many occasion, WS would negate all the transactions during the flash crashes due to un-normal activities.. Weekly option premiums were priced based on 5 trading sessions, technically that was a legal contract between buyers and sellers .. regardless of any external events, option should only expired after the 5th session of trading...by shutting down markets due to non-planned, then CBOE must abide by the legal contract.. Call your brokage and ask them..
