When a very strong company is selling off to levels below fair value, and its fundamentals are 2-3 times stronger than the competitors in the industry group, it is USUALLY a great time to BUY. (usually) But no one, not even the top analysts seem to know what is happening.
It's amazing how far some people will go in denial to prove a point. The market has spoken and the new is not good.
Market says this company has huge risks and it always traded like that. Now that the risks appear even greater the share price will reflect just that. How low no body knows .. but usually this kind of moves are a predecessor to much larger moves down the line.
And make no mistake. AAPL is a great company but they are not the only game in town like it was an year ago. Now the competition is all around them and all the companies got destroyed by AAPL are fighting back.. count NOK, RIMM, MOT(GOOG), MSFT etc.. in that group..
Nobody knows? really? I know. The competition has finally caught up and is gaining market share in tablets and smart phones. In case you haven't noticed the iPad isn't the only tablet out there anymore. There are plenty of good smartphones too.
Everyone just seems to forget that all the other tablets are class below the iPad. Same goes for iPhone, for just one model it's market share is staggering! Of course Samsung sells more smartphones. With 10 tunes more models that's a complete no brainer.
Got an email from work yesterday, they are providing everyone with an iPad. And that's for all crew in a major airline.
Just to indicate why Apple will continue to be trend setting in the mobile device market
Everyone knows that my friend. So it has become like the auto industry. You have good models (Mercedes) and junk (Fiat). Some companies make good margins and thrive (Rolls Royce) and others fail (Ford and GM). Think about it.
