Revenue around $41B to $43B which is only between 5% to 10% more than the equivalent quarter last year ($41-43B vs $39B), and no sandbagging.
No mention whatsoever of future earnings. Why? It has to be something they can't control like do they expect that big telecoms will lower their subsidies of iPhones and lower the earnings?
AAPL's iphone product has fared terribly abroad. It's only popular in USA and Japan (and still don't have the top Japanese carrier). They're failing to expand their brand internationally with any success and they're continuing to alienate the major foreign carriers and the few they didn't (e.g. AirTel) had weak adoption rates due to a poor understanding of local phone markets.
