I think game is over for Apple, hope not but that is how it seems for now. I think people got so burned by Apple Board for leaving them in cold, It has turned into a cold company to support.
The media HAS been beating up on them ..... but i guess it's been drumming into your mind as well, because they're NOT "the most hated" company. That is truly a warped viewpoint .... and again, your first assertion is to play there. Market forces have been at work to draw the stock price down, initially because of a highly over-bought and owned condition with many investment firms, but more recently, because of this backdrop of negative media sentiment, which i believe to an extent is covert behind-the-scenes manipulating by various money players trying to get in at cheaper prices. So far, it's been working, and will probably continue to be for a while. Ironically, I bet Goldman is partly at-play here, because of their recent talking-up of the stock, which is very typical of them. But at any rate, this stock-churning will continue, probably into mid-late spring, and will move the price down to 370-400. Be watching for that final bottom, because THEN is where to make your next move for a Long position(s).
AAPL has tremendous support at every level. They are the world leader in technology and are the most profitable company anywhere. AAPL is also the most widely held stock in all funds worldwide. That is for a reason. They make the best products and have a huge following that is just unmatchable and will always be unmatchable by competitors. To say the game is over is just showing your ignorance and desperation.
agree. and to boot i definitely thinks the drop in share price will affect sales. no longer cool to be associated with the company that lost $230 billion in market cap in months and not a peep to shareholders.
I sold my shares today. I'm upset with management, period. They can come up with the greatest invention in the world, and I will ignore it. Tim Cook is the worsed speaket and projects himself hollie than thou. It hurts to see GOOG near 800 and AAPL closing at the low of the day.
