If Apple was to buy Netflix it would barely dent their cash. Then they leave the existing customer relationships intact, but start offering additional features and functionality to users of apple products such as the rumored I-TV. Seems like many birds get hit by a single stone.
REally!!! Kramer mentioned that some time ago. Imagine if Apple had just bought $100 million worth of Neftlix futures when it was in the 50's. they could "vertically integrate" the apple TV biz.
I also think Apple should lobby for bringing home cash from overseas with a tax break if they invest in job making here in the USA - Like another apple factory. Weird no big corps have tired that, it seems like a no brainer.
Even if they bought it now with Netflix at 10 billion ... so they pay 15 B , still hardly dents their cash. Smart integration could yield big increases in hardware sales, not to mention ... It's Netflix fer crissakes!
