You should be very very careful. I have a friend working for China Mobile Research Institute. He told me their TD-LTE network isn't ready, and the company isn't very eager to sign a deal with Apple if the iPhones are priced too high. China Mobile subsidizes phones made by companies willing to offer better deals than Apple is willing to. If you're playing the China Mobile deal thing, you definitely will be disappointed. I'm not saying the price won't go up a month from now, but there won't be a China Mobile deal.
WoW!!!! Must be great to be such an "insider"! Sooooooo..... you knew all along that there wouldn't be a China Mobile announcement today, huh!!!! Thanks for sharing after the fact! You should actually have your #$%$ beat punk!!!!!! (lol..... as if you've got a "friend".... BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!)
After what fact? The China event hasn't happened yet. I was saying there won't be a deal, even though I hope there would be a deal. Listen, I took some beating today. I'd be happy to see Apple go higher.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tim Cook is on his way to China right now to be there for the China Mobile deal.
Everything adds up for a China Mobile deal ... they've never done something like this before and its a big enough deal they are giving it its own event.
What you said is indeed true and what has been talked about elsewhere... so I would not be surprised if nothing happens tonight as well.
I agree. People aren't looking at it from China's Mobile vantage point. They probably told Apple that, with a deal, they want to be the ones to announce it. ..hence, the second MAJOR announcement. I can't believe they would have this NEW second event just as a rehash of the Cupertino event.
