don't forget the usa rights
barry was very smart to keep those in his back pocket
usa rights bring milestones, payments double what merck paid for eu rights
still say bristol either gets the whole company or the usa rights
Sxsess, we may be alone in our opinion, but I am with you on really wanting a buyout. I believe the potential may be much larger for THLD if we are able to maintain a "partnership" with Merck to fullfill the current agreement. Merck has a substainsal stake in THLD, yes, but it is fair and yet limited as well.
3 things are imminent in order of possibility of happening
1; milestone payments; per contract; the longer we don't see the milestone payemnts, the more likely door # 3 below is
2. regulatory path going forward with possbile going direct to fda for approval based on phase ii results; per barry on the call, regulatory path "very near future"
3. buyout; pure speculation on my part
any one of these 3 could happen at anytime now
the longer we go without seeing the milestone payments, the more likely that becomes
also, this fall from 9+ to mid 6's just reduced any buyout by 33% or so
you think merck didn't notice that?
lowest vol day we've seen in a long time
silence from the company is deafening
