    ACAS is not poised to

do anything extraordinary in this market. It is nothing more than either a "wait and see" attitude, or a "got to get out" attitude.

Regardless of the NAV and the current price of ACAS or any stock right now, the market is acting irrational, therefore no investment in the market will follow rational behavior.

As I watch the dialogue on this thread, even the posters have become irrational in their opinions, whether short or long. Although I like to bash shorts when I can, they have had a winning position which can't be denied. Congrats to them, no need to rub it in, the world changes on a dime.Longs will have their days as well.

If the past is prologue, which it usually is, the market will come out of this downward death spiral, the recession will end, and a protracted bull rally will follow for several years.

Good luck to all.....patience will be the key to surviving the bear market.

    • Those you criticize don't have a language barrier IMO...although you have been unusually harsh in the past. Are you some old grandpa that screams at kids to "get off his lawn"?

    • "... the market is acting irrational [sic], therefore no investment in the market will follow rational behavior."

But still you are predicting the behavior of the market, which implies that it is predictable and thus rational, within a new paradigm, since it's derived from reason or based on your reasoning. Thus it is a rational market. Quod erat demonstrandum, ne'st pas?

"If the past is prologue, which it usually is, the market will come out of this downward death spiral, the recession will end, and a protracted bull rally will follow for several years."

You should consider working for Hallmark Greeting cards. There's bound to be an opening in their Gaseously Trite & Yet Meaningless Division.

    • Whatever they are supposedly putting aside for dividend for 09 will be what the total company value is worth (500 million) $3/share I believe

      3x200million shares=600 million dollars

      • My l;ast post for a while. I am sure you will be glad.

The company already spent some of the $500M they said they put aside for the dividend. Too bad you can not read, it is all in their latest 10Q filing. The amount is probably down to $200M and getting smaller everyday. Read. It is in their filings, the $500M is partly gone. Not hype, not basjing, the truth. maybe the management team should be challenged on how open they are. They say there is $500M then they say they spent some of it in the filings. Do you really trust what they say or what the have to write? Trust the SEC filings.

The research has been shared with you. I wish you only the best. Postings were not to hurt anyone. They were to inform based on research and analysis. So far it has been right. But the rest will not be known until the next filing which will not come till late Feb or March due to year end. ACAS has bought themselves time to hide. Too bad this team did not build credibility. If they come out and explain all then the bad surprises are gone and they can rebuild the company and the credibility. But too bad.

Happy whatever you celebrate. Talk to you again.

In the meantime, talk from facts and figures and read.

        JMHO.
