Something appears not to jive in ACAS's PR on the share buyback calculations. The PR indicates that the company has now purchased 61.4 million shares on the open market representing 17.8% of the outstanding shares at June 30, 2011. Correct me if I'm wrong but the number of o/s shares at June 30, 2011 would amount to 344.9 million (61.4/.178 = 344.9). And if you deduct 61.4 from 344.9 you end up with 283.5 million shares currently outstanding. And that can't be right. So I'm wondering where my calculation went wrong.
