Thank you Von for the last 3 trading days. I'm up since 3 days ago with over $6500 pure profits. Good calls again on PAAS, PD, NXG, MTH, and ANDE.
Today alone, I made nearly $2,500. Not bad for a hard day's work.
I think I made about 15 trades today which cost me $105 in broker fees, but who is counting fees when you're making money. This is way better than being an employee earning wages.
Von is da man! Thank you Von for great advice. Please come back to the board to help those who are clinging by their teeth and only hoping that SLW will go up. Keep hoping...
Best wishes to the board members.
here we go again. another comment on "sidetrack von"
let's stop bringing up this topic collectively. we can ignore him and his other handles and improve the board instantly.
regarding slw price. the bottom might be in as price seems to of stablilized. from highs, most equities have seen a 35% retracement.. looks like a solid foundation going forward.
good stuff jenthico, keep it coming. we'll dilute the bearishness of this board until we cant post anymore. did i say, BUY BUY BUY because VON's spreadsheet said this is a strong buy at 8.00. VON told me, and he's like payne webber, only smarter.
I'm staying with buy and hold now. No point in trying to trade this market anymore. The days of miners connected to the metals is long gone, imo. Yes, my profits have evaporated, but that's not the strategy. Accumulation is. Buying the dips, is. PERIOD! Seeing red is nothing. Only when you sell, is when it hurts. Luckily, I sold all of my AUY at a profit, but the unrealized gains in SLW and CDE have evaporated. I can live with that. As the bear creeps into the DOW, NAZ and S&P, that money is definitely moving here (PMs and miners) no doubt, when that happens, we go parabolic, IMO.
Check CDE's financials QoQ for the last year. Top and bottom line growth. I will follow CDE into the grave as that co. has value as does SLW.
SLV, GLD, IAU are next (after the real correction!!!) Shortly, I will be funding my account with real money. Up until now, I have just been getting a feel for this sector.

People in Asia do put much faith in their currencies, but that is not the idea behind them holding gold. It is more a cultural thing than a hoarding in anticipation of a currency collapse.

They watch it because there is no cartoon network.
