When does SLW exceed the price of spot silver

I know the price of SLW exceeded the price of silver around the $12 mark, I believe....but what I'd like to hear from everyone is their prediction as to when this will happen again.

I'll even throw out the first prediction/wild ass guess......when SLW hits $22.64 it will be greater than the spot price of silver....and at this rate it should happen by the end of next month...ok, maybe

The relationship between the two has nothing to do with each ones price slv at 22 slw at 22.

Slw story is tied to spot price of slv but its not equal, they are levreaged, so for every percent slv goes up slw moves 1.2 - 1.5 times that .

Leverage comes from the contracts at 4 bucks an ounce when sell last year 3mm oz, then this year you sell the same oz but price you sold is 10% higher you make 15% more .

You need to do more homework on this stock because you dont understand the business model based on your post.

read some old post on revenues vs. earnings then guess price of slw.

      • Actually, Hbrown does know this. He was just having some fun by trying to figure out when the leverage in SLW will allow it to trade at the same price as silver spot.

For instance, SLW used to trade just below the spot price of silver, then at around $10.00 spot.. SLW's price caught up to the $10.00 went roughly by $1.50 to $2.00 over. At that point it used the spot price in both its advances and declines like a sinosoidal wave rotates around a centre point..falling 1 to 2 dollars and rising 1 to 2 dollars above the spot price in a repreated pattern.

When I posted my post about stocks taking over and leading the silver spot price, this was what I was hinting at. Since my post SLW was trading 3 dollars below spot, now its 1.70 below.

My guess would be between $21.75 dollars ..silver spot...they catch up
