"To close with an unadulterated piece of good news: The findings of a CBS/New York Times poll have been published in a Bloomberg story headlined "Few Americans Want Members of Congress Re-Elected" -- showing that just 8% of voters think legislators should be re-elected; and that 81% think they shouldn't get another term. According to the story: "Americans said members of Congress are more interested in serving special interests than the people they represent."
Well, we can only hope that this sentiment carries the day when elections are held next fall, and perhaps the country will have a chance to deal with its long-term problems."
And that is a poll conducted by a LIBERAL MEDIA and LIBERAL NEWSPAPER..doubt the fix is in here..wja
Let me try again. The stated policy of the United States is that Iraq will pay for its liberation by funding our involvement in this war. They can pay cash, doubloons, or oil, that latter of which they have in abundance.
The fact we are cashflowing this event called the Iraqi war isn't endgame.
At the end of every big meal, comes the check. The United States policy is, after the meal, pass the check over to the Iraqi's.
Yeah every Congressfreak is way overdue getting the ax. Plus we haven't opened up a third front yet in another preemptive war. After stealing Mid East oil, why don't we bomb some Latin American country and steal their bananas?
The point? Nothing will fix this fukkin mess. NOTHING.
