What I'd like to hear is that they are making progress on the Canadian REIT and that they will spinout the Blackhawk shares to SWY holders. There is no rational business reason to retain them. There are zero operational synergies to retaining ownership. My fear is that they will retain them and then sell them at a later date to pay down debt. I estimate the value of spinoff to be about a 15% increase in the value of your holdings. Canadian reit harder fro me to figure educated guess 5%-15%, but will be net positive if Loblaw's REIT is any indicator. Earnings problematic I'll take the co's estimate.
