Reporter from the Phoenix Business Journel predicts further Expansion by Apple
" Apple will like us, they really will like us.
Apple Inc. executives will see that the Valley is a solid technology hub and open even more offices and facilities with the success of its new Mesa manufacturing plant.
In early November, Apple announced it would soon open an east Mesa factory in the failed First Solar manufacturing plant. Apple bought the 1.32 million-square-foot facility for $113.6 million cash. GT Advanced Technologies, a Merrimack, N.H.-based company, entered into a multi-year sapphire material supply agreement with Apple to provide its sapphire glass for Apple devices.
The expected success of this venture will show Apple the Valley has the land, the talent and lower costs in everything, compared with California, to bring more of pieces of Apple to Phoenix."
As long as Apple keeps its people away from Flagstaff their people will stay
I have had themisfortune of having to go to Flagstaff 3 of the past 3 summers.
There is nowhere on earth that has more lazy slack jaws on earth. Not even Adams County Ohio.
There ARE a few really good people in flag. BUT they are farrrrrrrrrrr and few between.
Also, Apple should keep their people away from LA LA MYSTICLAND aka Sedona.
15,000 people and 12,500 of them consider themselve MYSTICS.
I had a "mystic" for a landlord/
There was to be an exclipse of the sun.
She wanted to borrow my SUNGLASSES to wear as her AHEM group called "Sedona Drum" went to STARE AT THE SUN'S ECLIPSE. True story. My suggestion was to make sure they had a contact with Seeing Dog providers befor doing it. Sure enough they did it anyway and sure enough, had eye damage.
Welcome to the area...Just stay in Mesa and Phx and don't walk the side streets during the DAY
