Correction: There has been 1 insider buy in the last 3 years

I have been corrected by Chelle. I posted that there have been no open purchases in the last 3 years by any officer or director. However, Chelle discovered that on 9/14/2011, CEO Tom sold 235,000 shares at $11.03 for $2.6million then bought 13K (or roughly 1/20th) of those shares back at $7.42.
In the last 3 years, TG bought 13,000 shares ONCE for $96,460.
In the same period, TG sold 541,617 shares on 15 separate occasions for a total sale of $5.76 Million.
2.4% of his open market trades have been buys and 97.6% have been sells.

Chelle was hurt and upset that I didn't acknowledge to the board that he "threw it back in my face" so please accept my deepest apology for my omission.

    • Insider buying and selling is overrated. These guys cannot control macroeconomic forces, give me a break.

    • I just read somewhere you got him to say he "hates" you. LOL. Never seen someone rattle someone else this bad in a message board. You're way off in your long-term sentiment IMHO and may not know what you're talking about as far as the direction of GT (not sure you even care) but it's hysterical watching you do this whole Jedi Mind Trick thing on him. You can't pick stocks but you could make a fortune as a shrink.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Actually, you used this lie as a bashing point. One of many I should point out. Good to see that you can actually do a 30 second google search and find something out before you open your big ignorant mouth and profess knowledge of things you actually know nothing about. You made similar bogus claims about the factory in Mesa. I realize you dislike being exposed as a liar, but it is the reality. Always counter lies with facts. Another fact is that their shares/options are part of their compensation package. They are theirs to sell at will. The majority of the time they have programmed sales to offset taxes. These sales are no more meaningful than that. Shares have been sold far lower than the current PPS, and shares have been sold higher over the last few years This has no bearing on the company, it's business strategy, or its future prospects.

      Sentiment: Buy
