I saw it at my local Wegman's tonight, which I don't go there very often. They have the 4 original flavors @ $2.99 apiece. So, I bought one of each!
I'm drinking the Cranberry Ginger as I type, though I haven't tried the others yet. I like it. I think it's better than most varieties of Synergy, which is usually way too vinegary. I must admit, though, I think I might like the Synergy Chia varieties a little better. Maybe I'm just used to those more? Then again, there's no way I could drink 2/3rds of the bottle of Synergy Chia in just one sitting, as those are too thick.
At Wegman's, Reed's has half the bottom shelf in a huge cooler, bordering the produce section, with all the other health drinks (including GT & Synergy next to Reed's, which I believe has the same amount of shelf space). Each of the four Reed's flavors have 3 rows, about 15 deep. It looked pretty well stocked, except for 1 flavor, which only had about half. I forget which one, but I want to say it was Lemon Ginger Raspberry.
Anyway, I'm happy with it. Definitely looking forward to trying the other 3 flavors in my fridge!
Is it perfect, though? No. The usual culprits: looks dark on the shelf; some of the labels are bubbly/crinkled; wish it didn't taste vinegary at all (like Synergy Chia). Finally, the labels state NASDAQ, when it should be NYSE. But it is definitely a lot better than the non-Chia Synergy!
Hey, does anybody know if Wegman's carries a wide selection of Reed's soda? If so, which varieties? I can't believe I forgot to look tonight!
