Yeah, Kid. It doesn't look good for the unsecured bonds. Which one do you own. Hopefully you guys will get some of the new equity. I imagine it will be pretty diluted down though.
I remember back when you and Pro were super tight. I hope you can see that back then I was trying to show you the truth regarding the prognosis... the ITC case, the difficulty with patent sale, the cash burn, the unavoidable share cancellation etc.
Haven't seen you in a while ekretiree. Hope all is well. Whatever happened to canadianbeer? He has been missing in action as well.
I've been posting on Stockboardguy's message board. It has some nice features such as being able to posts links and graphs which makes it easy for illustration etc. The board consists of mostly irrational longs though. I bring the facts, they bring the hate and angst.
I wrote a couple of long posts analyzing the exit financing numbers and incentives for the 2nd lien holders to facilitate the exit financing. If you have access, you might want to read it and tell me what you think.
Hello Artic, Did not think you were still around. I do not have access to the other board. That MB does not allow guest accounts and I was reluctant to sign up. Although, would like to read your analysis of the financing situation. As I stated earlier, I think the mandates of the recent financing are helping to assist them in reducing the UK pension plan. They made sure that was a requirement for financing.
EK sure looks like its in deep doodoo. Probably will come out of Chapter 11 with no original common and then either be purchased by someone or Chapter 22. I am presently looking for a alternative medigap advantage provider. As you know, EK will terminate their plan on Dec. 31st. Finding out that alternative plans are priced competitively and in some cases cheaper. Making me wonder how they are seeing a savings from discontinuing the retiree insurance program. . Probably realizing the savings from retirees that have not turned 65 yet. Their pricing on the medigap program is competitive with outside companies and they do not have that many retirees on regular insurance.
It will be interesting to see if the Judge will allow them to reduce the UK pension obligation (Nortel)..
Have not heard from Canada. Looks like he sold out and lost interest.
