Hi zk,I like your attempt to estimate a dollar value on ING management's incompetence, is interesting idea.Just the final number is missing from your note. Using your ratios, INGs' current market cap, I caalculated the current ING management is worth MINUS $25B.Nice discount, isnt it?All the lost confidence in EU banks coming from euro crisis, plus the worldwide general financial risk-aversion has LESS effect on ING's share price, than Incompetence.Yes, this is the price the Dutch stakeholders and all shareholders lost, by keeping Jan Hommen and his team in place instead of fireing them. We could get a nice rally just by doing it.Dont you think it would worth a try?Where is the Dutch enterprising spirit? Anyway, probably we both agree that the real world is much more complicated. It is hard to topple a corrupt regime. Remember Kadhafi and Assad?Still, I like your idea to make an estimate number on "intangible", like incompetence.
