Do you ever wonder why Danoff who I have never seen interviewed before on CNBC decides to come out of his Ivy Tower. Everything is for a reason and Fidelity et al need people to invest or else prices go lower. Unfortunately there is no new money going into the market because the baby boomer retiring is withdrawing funds. The laid off employee who is un or underemployed is living of investment and savings and the small pool left is drying up from higher energy, food and healthcare. Because the computers can break out homebuilder stocks doesn't mean that boomers are suddenly not downsizing. The tail cannot wage the dog no matter how hard they try.
