Pandora ubiquitous across all mobile platforms......
Android has the largest mobile OS share in the world. So many worried about the potential of Apple maybe launching a music service that still has no license deals in place with major labels........even IF a streaming service from Apple does materialize it won't look like Pandora but more like Spotify. More importantly, Android won't be supporting iTunes music service. Apple, like AOL in the 90s, has isolated into a closed ecosystem. Android on the other hand is on TVs, smart phones and even cameras. No matter the dominate OS in mobile(or desktop)PANDORA app will be there. No matter where you go, iPhone, Galaxy S3(me:-)Google TV, Roku, the dash in your new car........your PANDORA playlist will launch and the user interface will/does look the same across all devices.
No other music service can do this as they are competitors in hardware as well as OS. Like NetFlix, PANDORA will win this.
I trade PANDORA a few times at IPO. Only recently did I buy as a investment and plan to hold very long term. My attitude from trade to investment was based on switching from iPhone to Blackberry to Galaxy S 3 phones. Buying a Google TV and hooking my Roku to the TV. Owning a MacBook and having friends with windows PC. ALL have one thing in common.PANDORA app. and my playlist looks exactly the same across all platforms. Let Apple try that.I am considering the Samsung Galaxy camera that just came out. There is PANDORA again. Android OS running camera. You want video content from your account no matter the device....use NetFlix. You want your personalized playlist of music no matter the OS you choose? use PANDORA.
