Apple's Event Next Tuesday Oct 22, Eearnings Oct 28
Apple is holding an event on Tuesday to release iPad 5 and the new generation of iPad mini. This also coincides with 1 month anniversary of iOS 7. It is very possible that Apple, just like Pandora that releases its user base monthly, announces their update on iTunes Radio's Performance with a BIG surprise.
They gathered 11 million users in just 5 days after the release with 200 million iOS7 updates (Pandora shares drop more than 10% in an hour), now with more than 500 million devices already updated to iOS7 they should have at least 50 million users in a month, (Shares to NOSEDIVE)
I hereby kindly ask our Greedy Long PUMPER friends, including Pandorans in 8 bucks and Pandorans in IRAQ to stay longer and longer for these events as well as for the upcoming Nov 2's metrics to maximize their benefits.
Nice spin, but the financial fact is that out of over 200 million downloads you had 11 million (only about 5%) who “tried” iRadio. If you did your DD you would also understand that iRadio and Pandora have two very different products and have very different goals, but I’ll let you figure that out.
I find it hilarious that you post this spin on a trading day when we have risen about 4% and hit a new 52 week high. On the eve of Apple’s new release, isn’t it interesting our PPS is climbing; the Market knows the facts without spin. BTW, is it greedy to hold an investment when you know the company is in the right place at the right time if front of a huge wave?
I have seen Shorts come and go for about a year now, they just didn’t do their DD.
Search Twitter for the keywords "iTunes Radio Pandora" to get to know which application people do prefer. I have quantitative numbers in hand. You are the one who hasn't done your DD and just listen to Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
Apple will absolutely tout the number of active users on their iTunes Radio. Every presentation they've done starts with stats on downloads, registrations, purchases, etc. The final portion of WWDC 2013 keynote was dedicated to debut and demo iTunes Radio. It was consciously built it into their iTunes, iOS and Apple TV software updates last year. iTunes match subscribers were given ad-free access. They made plans to push into other countries from the outset. They are obviously very proud of it and have dedicated a tremendous amount of resources to make it work. It's a force that will have be reckoned with yes and anytime Apple enters your space, you have a right to be scared.
