I have never really seen a busy one and cannot believe that they are making money with so many small underperforming stores. I wonder what their numbers would be if they were broken out separately from AHOLD.
They tried to take over the New England Market with their acquisitions in the past few years but have failed. They bought up everyone they could. The results are the stores are to small, suffer from low traffic and overprices. If they ever broke out the US numbers you would see how much they are in trouble. With rising fuel prices and insurance, home delivery will never make money. Management is arrogant and from my perspective suffers from lack of insight.
