Someone earlier today posted that Google and CLWR were in negotiations. While the replies to that post indicated that was a farce, didn't Google just pay Motorola billions for a ton of their patents? With that in mind, why wouldn't Google be in possible negotiations with CLWR? I'm just asking that it could be a possibility though I'll admit that I chuckled when I first read the post too until I remembered that Google purchased those patent rights.

But the landscape has certainly changed and Google's original investment at the time was to ensure open WiMAX access. So with the change in technology to TDD LTE and FDD LTE, I could see Google interested in Clearwire again.
