I'll be curious on the next CC how much the share count has declined

You'd figure management would aggressively front-weight the buyback, since the stock will only eventually go up. This suggests that the EPS benefit of the buyback would be realized sooner rather than later. We will see :-)

    • Red, I want to ask you a serious question. And yes, I do have a negative opinion on this equity!
It is usually best to average in your buys over a period in time. This is usually the cheapest way to buy stock.
Now, to buy in all at one time rather than average in, makes a very bullish statement from management,
on the price of this stock, going thru the end of the year.
However it does not account for any market downturns,
Taking the overall market into consideration, and being the market is at so high a point,
would it not be stupid to buy all shares now, when the market will probably be lower sometime this year.
And we all know, if the market goes down, this will go down a slightly higher percentage then the market.

Management buying all shares now would be ver bullish on WU, but it would be a big gamble, that the overall market is going up for the rest of the year, I am not sure this management would take that big a gamble.

What do you think, Serious reply only!
