We can grow more as individuals and learn something if we discuss issues rather than trade insults. Is this a stock good for the short or long term, if so, why, if not why not. Let truth prevail from reasoned argument of facts. Lets grow up not only as individuals but as a nation by examining the evidence, debating the issues like adults and let the cards fall as they may.
1. I view NRGY as a long term hold and attractive as a relatively stable income vehicle with dividend growth potential but only in the intermediate term The changes in the IPO structure remain unclear and my knowledge of pipeline and storage is not what it should be. 2. But I am an accountant and the numbers for the main reason I own; relative stable income/some intermediate prospects remain intact.
3. Management has an exceptional track record.
I welcome criticism and lets see if we can elevate this forum with intelligent discourse.
Tennvol, I think NRGY is good long term. They are one of the fastest growing MLP's out there, and they are diversified. They have fantastic management. I do think they bit off a little more than they could chew when they bought the parent co., and I believe that is why they are forming this new MLP. But you have to give them credit as soon as they saw Propane slowing they began expanding their Midstream buss.Right now they are in the process of growing and expanding, in my opinion anything worthwhile takes time. They also had a bit of a setback with the EPA. The EPA is giving them problems about the Marc1 pipeline. The EPA wants FERC to order a more in depth EIS (environmental impact study) An EIS was already performed but the EPA wants a more indepth study. So Nrgy is fighting them on that. NRGY seems positive that this will go through regardless. Once the Marc1 pipeline is online they will be in an excellent position. They have positioned themselves very well in the Marcellus and elsewhere.
