    • Paul, don't listen to these day trader idiots. If they knew the product, they would agree that virtualization is not just a buzz word. It is what is being implemented in data centers around the world IN PRODUCTION! In the early days, it was great for development environments but today it is running on mission critical servers by the biggest companies. Even Microsoft is trying to get market share but they are WAY behind the power curve. GO LONGS!!!!

      • I know... and thanks.. we use it extensively.... actually, it's quiet remarkable how it transformed a 6000 sq feet data center in one location to about 1500 SQ feet... (we're going to do more)

I don't even want to tell you how much money is saved on cooling and electricity. Energy consumption went down by a little less than 80%!

The best part is that just about everything is easily managed by remote access. No headaches or sitting around in a cold operations room.

I love VMW, I can easily see this scenario play around in many data centers.
