VMW - you can always tell when someone big is backing out

Just after the bell at 4:03pm somebody dumped 32,000 shares at 66.51. I have no idea why they held onto this huge block so long and then dump it after close. You would think somebody with enough brains to acquire 32,000 shares they would have made up their mind.

      • I think it is NY sellers or bankers and this large block represents the amount of shares they were not able to sell that day, dumped on the market after hours. Interesting side note, there is no source of information as to how to trade. All the data is old and written by some fresh college grad students that make sure they insert the key words in every article, Microsoft, Cisco, and Intel, while names like VMW, FFIV, RVBD are frowned upon. These names are out of favor until big money says they are a great value and Brian Sullivan, Herb the Jewish Clown and Cramer will be pushing them on CNBC. I don't even turn my TV on CNBC anymore, it has become a platform for all things Obama.
