The more I do research on this Reactions, it points to FMS's inadherence to Protocol!
An immediate action from FMS's personal would have prevented this reaction making headlines and provide ammo to the likes of GEEWEEPEEE! From Moyo Clinic website they clearly provide a clear approach to prevent this getting out of control. It is not AFFY, OMONTYS or Takeda to be blamed. The blame squarely lies in the hands of FMS.
If there is no settlement in this regard, I would anticipate a huge problem for FMS because the drug has clearly the Black Box warning for this issue and the procedures to be followed. Did AMGN pressurized FMS on this issue, leading to death? A BLN $ question though!
Could not possibly agree more with this post...and had Fresenius personnel done what was needed in a timely way (IMO) Affymax share price would probably be in the $40's or higher at this point as this would NEVER have had a recall. I'm not suggesting that Affymax will fetch $40's or higher upon the return of Omontys, but this BINARY investigation WILL result in a BINARY OUTCOME. O is restored, Affymax share price up by 10X or more. O permanently cancelled (not likely at all) then shares pretty much worthless. Industry history and the course of events as we understand them all point to the RETURN OF OMONTYS!!!
