I vaguely remember visiting their website or annual report last summer when hurricanes were coming. It seemed like a big part of their general insurance is devoted to trucking companies based largely in the northwest.
"Provides commercial lines of property and liability insurance and reinsurance, predominantly to industrial, mining, transportation, and financial services companies, as well as actuarial consulting, tax planning, claims control, and management of captive or retrospectively-rated insurance programs. Ranks among the 100 largest property and liability insurance groups in the United States."
Plea, not trying to pick a fight with you, but the annual report doesn't tell you hurricane exposure.
I did a search on the insurance company names under ORI's umbrella and they do (or did) have offices in New Orleans. It may not be substantial, and I could be wrong, but I think any P&C insurance company in New Orleans probably had hurricane exposure.
