Hey Lind thanks for asking. Kinda nice to talk about something other than "grinding on stocks" for a while.
I'm going to drop a few lures in the water on my way over to escort a paddler in http://www.molokaiworldchampionships.org/
since everyone here likes boats so much I thought I would mention it.
Have fun at the class the little ones grow up in flash!
The sooner it (we're flying blind) grows up the better...one of the constraints of starting late. Luckily though, my lovely wife (who is quite a bit younger than I) promises to do all the "heavy lifting."
Btw, I visited Molokai several times when I was living in San Francisco, and you are a lucky man. It's a little tough from a time zone perspective, but hey...it's only time.
I've been planning a trip to Molokai for a long time, but my accountant (a humorless man) says that the airfare is not deductible unless it is a bona fide business trip.
May I come to visit with you to discuss HUNTSMAN?
I've never understood all of these 'classes' and 'books' on birthing and raising babies. It's pretty natural and has been going on for thousands of years without additional 'classes'. Unfortunately we're stuck keeping our wives happy, fortunately we have beautiful wives and families and if it requires a few silly classes so be it.
We just changed our last diaper in the last couple of weeks - so glad that stage is over - though I do miss having a baby around.
My weekend is going to be spent putting catch basins around 900 newly planted peach trees at the local church-owned welfare orchard. I'll take that over your class any day ML.
Totally separate subject - you have a good recommendation on good algo books? Good overview stuff plus some practical application...
Agree on all fronts, Dai.
As for a good algo. book, I'll give that some thought. As you might imagine, those who have developed successful algos are not out there sharing what they know. I did post a while back the title of an excellent book on flash trading, a related subject, but I'll need to look up the title for that one, as I gave my copy to one of my partners.
I dunno, Lind. When I was playing in our weekly old-guy soccer pickup last night, there's this super funny guy who always has jokes to tell... and they are almost always the kind you can't discuss here.
But last night one of the things he was talking about was his wife - his 2nd wife - and how a friend of his had convinced him to be introduced to her by describing her thusly: "she's tolerant, good looking, and has big T!ts!!"
So, if you're wife is in that state right now, and meets the other two criteria, I'd say YOU owe HER!
Another quick observation. My dad was huge into sailing... like epic CCA stuff. He and his wife went all over... and he used to tell me - which I knew anyway - that if you can't live on a sailboat with your wife then you married the wrong person.
So, being as you got the boat, and the wife, I'm assuming the two go hand in hand nicely. Congratulations!
My wife and I are getting on a time machine and going back to the 40's tonight at dinner. Google: Home Front Cafe images. Saturday morning is ROBIN HOOD! First show! Sunday will probably watch a little golf..... Ed
