hey, supply and demand dummies. price is too high for a vehicle. get the costs in line so you can charge what the vehicle is worth and what people are willing to pay. too many cars on the market and all overpriced. I'd buy two right now if they were 5K to 10K cheaper. (light trucks and suvs)
if you read my post correctly, you'd see that I did say to bring costs down so that you could charge less, not keep the same cost of production and just charge less. don't need to be a genious to figure that out. if they didn't think they had the government as a backdrop, that's exactly what they'd be forced to do. let them go into ch 11.
There is this thing called "cost of production" that eventually they have to deal with. ANy lower price will be temporary. I think you will be able to buy Chryslers for almost nothing VERY soon as they have them stacked up in storage. The other two were faster to cut production, so they don't have quite as many stacked up and rotting on the "fence".
