All one has to do is go to an auto show to know this is true. Alternative fuel is the top priority in the automotive industry these days and electric vehicles are at the front of the pack...the decision is made and there is little we can do about it. The question is do you want to get on board before or after there is real money to made based on this reality?
"Alternative fuel is the top priority in the automotive industry these days and electric vehicles are at the front of the pack..."
And what fuel is used to generate their electricity? NO, a battery is NOT an energy source!
I feel there are serious enviromental questions to answered about how we handle the by products of producing all these batteries.
Also where is all this copper going to comfrom to wind the stators of these electric motors?... Copper..may be a good stock or commodities play?
NO, electric cars are a gimmick. Very limited use, Sorry.
Krauth, that's funny, you're alright. Don't forget you can always carry a spare battery for those battery powered cars.
Wait til the people find out what they have to do to their houses electrical systems to recharge them.
Spare battery? There's like 20 batteries in those things.
I wonder what a business could charge for electricity to recharge these things. A re-charging station with a giant solar and wind powered receptacles.
Can you link those cars together in series to make them go faster and further?
Oh....the possibilities are endless...
