Ford has revenue of 40 billion & net income of 2.6 billion and Tesla has revenue of 405 million and net income of 20 million. Am I missing something here???? can someone explain this????
Quick FYI about Tesla:
Tesla currently makes one car, the $70,000 Model S.
The company delivered 5,150 Model S sedans in the quarter, surpassing its expectation for 4,500.
The company said it remains on track to deliver 21,000 cars worldwide this year.
Tesla delivered the Model S to its first European customers this week.
Sounds like an expensive-keeping-up-with-the-Jones car.
You're missing the forest for the trees. Share price cannot be directly compared because the two companies do not have identical numbers of outstanding shares.
If you want to make a comparison, compare market cap ... you'll see that Ford is four times more valuable as a company than Tesla.
Because Mullaly doesn't inspire lie Tesla.
