It's interesting to note F's steady climb vs GM this year. On January 1, one share of F was worth 43.5% of a share of GM. In every consecutive month except April, the value of F relative to GM has increased. Right now, one share of F is worth 48.7% of a share of GM. Or, to put it more simply, the value of Ford shares has risen by 37.9% this year, while GM shares have risen by 22.2%. The surprising thing to me is that the disparity hasn't been greater, since it has become increasingly evident that F is a much better managed company.
