I have seen some here comparing EHGT to WGAT, this is a small snippet of a large article that Yahoo would not let me post here.
"These videophone rollouts follow the introduction of a $29.95-per-month videophone service by 8x8, Inc.s Packet8 AIV earlier this year. The 8x8 device, priced at $499 with a temporary $200 rebate with service sign-ups, is, like Ojo, a SIP-based system, although the two systems do not communicate with each other. (Ojo is equipped to interact with PacketCable and H.323 networks as well.) Based on web-posted reviews it appears that the 8x8 videophone, using H.263 video compression as opposed to the more bandwidth-efficient H.264 to deliver video to a five-inch LCD screen, requires about 256 kbps or better throughput to perform at the levels Ojo delivers at 150 kbps over a seven-inch LCD."
