Everybody know what the PACOB is? That stands for Public Accounting Oversight Board. After Sarbanes-Oxley they inspect accounting firms and publish the results of the INSPECTIONS
You should look up the inspection information on every accounting firm for every small stock that you hold.
If you're not already doing this you are way behind the 8-Ball so to speak........
cfasmarty. Wrong. They can't run without money for the mgmt to stuff in their pockets! You have no clue how difficult it is to get an NDA past the FDA. No clue!
Sentiment: Strong Sell
It's PCAOB, you got the letters mixed up
The deficiencies identified in three of the audits reviewed included deficiencies of
such significance that it appeared to the inspection team that the Firm, at the time it
issued its audit report, had not obtained sufficient competent evidential matter to
support its opinion on the issuer's financial statements or ICFR. Those deficiencies
(1) the failure to perform sufficient procedures to test the allowance for loan
(2) the failure, in two audits, to perform sufficient procedures to test the
valuation of available-for-sale securities; and
(3) the failure, in two integrated audits of financial statements and ICFR, to
perform sufficient procedures to test the design and operating effectiveness of
controls relating to the valuation of available-for-sale securities, and in one of
those audits, the failure to perform sufficient procedures relating to the use of the
work of others.
