Google China Agents Demand Compensation in Event of Pullout
By Brian Womack and Elaine Chan
March 17 (Bloomberg) -- Google Inc. received demands from advertising agents in China to provide compensation plans for companies threatened to go out of business by a possible shutdown of the U.S. company’s Web site in the country.
Google ASKED ON2 to STOP its operation with more than $250K or $500K to destroy ON2 shareholders REVENUE and PROFIT but Chinese agants are NOT ON2 shareholders:
“We have been suffering losses everyday and daily business has been almost zero, so we need your response,” according to the letter, which CCTV reported was on behalf of 27 Google agents. “We can’t accept any suggestion by Google that this is a purely commercial move, or that our clients, staff and investors must accept the business risks.”
