The article you cut-and-pasted was loaded with unfocused techno-babble. Nothing they mentioned was a tangible product I could purchase anytime in the near future. It's the dreams and aspirations of the "look-what-we-can-do" crowd at Motorola. And it's all CRAP because anyone with a modicum of talent would've left Motorola YEARS ago. These are the unfocused ideas of the people with the wrong stuff, the people that appled to Apple and Facebook and were turned down for the jobs. They needed something for the trade show, so they scooped up some muck and will throw it on the table. Then they'll head over to Chilis and get tanked up on a dinner of Appetizers and Cocktails, and Google will pay for it.
Motorola has govt contracts that are very stable and offer opportunities for any bright company to develop.
One idea is the outdated GEAC software which really needs an upgrade. I am currently part of this project. But am thinking of leaving after suffering from a very severe illness that changed my timeframe and how I think about life now. I called it Project Gotham. It will probably be completed without me now. But was my original idea.
Google may go the way of Yahoo. As Don Amechi said " Things Change".
