cvs is "everywhere" as well, also they can delivery everywhere.
you cannot view one day's trading as a net positive or negative for either company, however based on today's announcement, it becomes a positive for CVS because the RXs filled by WAG that I imagine WAG was losing money are now filled by CVS. Keep in mind CVS makes money from RETAIL and PBM. This announcment didnt come "overnight" they tried to work things out, CVS also walked away from WAG demands. Why did CVS walk away, because they see the bigger picture. Now if your MHS or ESRX, WAG becomes more vulnerable, WAG needs ESRX and MHS that much more. Just an FYI, MHS and ESRX are working with local pharmacies in certain areas to be preferred fillers....to the poster who said something about todays action, you can look at it whichever way you want. today is a knee jerk reaction because wag made the move, imagine if cvs said they will no longer do business with wag (if you do not understand the relationship cvs and wag have then feel free to ask how the transactions work), the street will figure it out eventually, watch!!
