5.50m shares are being sold to fund the purchase of Walgreens PBM maybe?
"The company said it expects to use the net proceeds received from this offering to fund a portion of the about $525 million purchase price for the company's acquisition of Walgreens Health Initiatives Inc., which is expected to close in the first half of 2011.
Should the acquisition not be completed, the company will use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes."
What happened to the banks underwritting this deal??
"The Yellow Brick Road seems to be a very long path to follow".
That road was started 100+ years ago, to bad.
I have my view and a few MD's might share that view should they ever be in a position to speak out.. Costs/Automation/Marketing/Outcomes/Quality of Life Goals, and this sector might have a faint view of Emerald City. I realy enjoy discussing issues with those who are smarter than myself!!
have you been drinking too much schnapps again? Catalyst Health is already on the hook for $525 MILLION and if Walgreens can turn around and sell it to Medco for an ADDITIONAL $215 MILLION then that would be just great for Walgreens but I would imagine that Catalyst Health might object since they now own the deal and can't get their money back. You might need to read something with a real link instead of the stupidity that you try and post.
