you sound like your an independant. How does this merger affect you? What will your margins be like after this merger. Sounds like you are in support of this merger. I cannot see how a company can support express scripts with their profits increasing at the expense of stand alones. I would try to by pass, and it sounds like some of the companies have already have done this. Just curios what your thoughts are
I think cmxgen is nothing but a liar. He has an axe to grind against WAG because WAG doesn't share with him their profitable patients (that is what he claimed here). Why should they do that?
Actually most indies see ESRX as their worst enemy. Some of the independent pharmacists that I talked to admit that WAG is fighting a battle on their behalf and according to them if WAG can not do it, no one else can. Unlike CVS, WAG's interest is aligned with independent retail pharmacies. It is the independent pharmacies that are suing now to block the merger.
Isn't the above concern from independent pharmacies any different from WAG stated for breaking their contract with ESRX? ESRX profits has increased a 1000% in the last 10 years at the expense of the actual payers for healthcare - i.e. you and me.
I seriously doubt if cmxgen is an independent, he is most likely a shill for PBMs (I wouldn't be surprised if he is working for one).
Hey there....mhs reimbursements for us have been pretty good but so are esrx. Most independents have Medicaid and Medicare patients.
This merger impacts private pay patients where cost savings will be driven to mail order.
This guy who is coming hard against me needs to take a xanax. If you lose your job at wag it's not because of me. I make plenty of money and have been able to pick off wag patients. It's just that business would be double, but I still do very well and that's important to me at the end of the day.
