Fellow board member antacular made this post last summer......please read it to get a pretty solid investment thesis for why you should buy into TEPCO....read:http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Business_%26_Finance/Investments/Stocks_(A_to_Z)/Stocks_T/threadview?bn=72267&tid=631&mid=631
My first trades were in that period on the japanese market and paid in USD.29/03/2011 400 2895 $(Buy at 566 yen)05/04/2011 600 2943 $(Buy at 400 yen)09/06/2011 500 1186 $(Buy at 182 yen)12/07/2011 -1500 - 8498 $ (Sell at 459 yen)If I didn't sold on that time I was in a very unlucky situation now.Bought back later on the american market :06/03/2012 800 2219 $(In at 2.65$)21/03/2012 700 1847 $(In at 2.59$)In a decreasing market, people must sell when there is a gain !Gain must come during the next two months, later it could be too late.
I forgot this two on the american market :22/12/2011 800 2242 $(Buy at 2.79 $)22/02/2012 -800 -2485 $ (Sell at 3.15 $)
I've been buying since 2.80 and continue to average down.My biggest objection to buying more if a matter of being off balance.I am already weighted with Tepco being the entire utility section. I have as much invested in Tepco as I do in companies such as Intel, Pfizer, Walmart, etc.Still putting it up there with the big boys.
Averaged at 2.727Thought we were going to the moon when we hit $3Haha
