Arrived at Cappadocia after over-night flight, small towns in central Turkey, famous for amazing rock formations with man-made cave houses and churches in them. Those strange and cute rock formations reminded me when I saw Bryce Canyon for the first time. Visited Goreme open-air museum with cone like rocks called fairy chimney with little churches and cave homes inside them. Rented a scooter to visit honey valley with mushroom-like rocks and rocks like man's .. and enjoyed sunset at the top of rock castle.
Next day, visited underground city that goes down 8 floors underground, hiking along a stream in the valley surrounded by rocks, and other valleys some similar to Painted Desert in west US.
Food is good, people are kind, and it is inexpensive unlike Europe.
