Anybody have an idea of a good or a bad outcome to the case is priced into the stock price right now? If it turns out good for stockholders, do we get a big upswing? If it's bad do we get crushed? Are either priced in?
It is already "bad" so I do not see the stock being crushed. If the outcome is that the breakup is approved then I see a big upswing. The truth though is that the decision will be meaningless. The courts will decide that Malone does not have a right to kick Diller out and that Diller does not have a right to break up the company and dilute Liberty's votiing control. It will really put the ball back in to the court of a negotiated arrangement between Diller and Malone. Which, in my opinion, they will do.
