    The Smallest Big-Pharma Is a ME-TOO

They just filed another antidepressant (they already had many), and PPS down as market up. They sold the novel AEROSPAN to Acton in 2009, and bought a ME-TOO antidepressant, Viibryd, in 2011.

      • FRX's upcoming Cariprazine is also a ME-TOO antipsychotics. It is the ninth of FRX's "new nine."

The following is an incomplete list of atypical antipsychotics:
        Second Generation
        • Clozapine (Clozaril)
        • Olanzapine (Zyprexa)
        • Risperidone (Risperdal)
        • Quetiapine (Seroquel)
        • Ziprasidone (Geodon)
        • Amisulpride (Solian)
        • Asenapine (Saphris)
        • Paliperidone (Invega)
        • Iloperidone (Fanapt)
        • Zotepine (Nipolept, Losizopilon, Lodopin, Setous)
        • Sertindole (Serdolect, and Serlect in Mexico)
        • Lurasidone (Latuda)
        Third Generation
        • Aripiprazole (Abilify)

In which, Seroquel and Zyprexa both were blockbusters and were genericized in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Abilify still is one of the top sellers, but will be genericized in 2015.

Therapeutically, FRX's Cariprazine is very similar to EliLilly's Zyprexa. EliLilly was fined $1.3B for illegally promotion Zyprexa. The sales of both Seroquel and Zyprexa will drop to a few $M in coming years. Abilify will follow.

So, the fierce competition from generics will put the outlook of Cariprazine, the ME-TOO, doomy.

You will be a loser in icompeting with cheap generics -- Solomon forgot it.
