At 13 7/8 it's time for management to make some statement of reassurance. Ok, the international economy is bad, but this is getting out of hand - a p/e of 5, and a yield of 5% - the 30 year bond is only 4.7% now!!
The only way to explain this is there is some bad news real close. I would guess that TKR will release a warning within the next day and what is happening now is selling by insiders. There can be no other reason for this. As you said the fundamentals and past history of TKR would not let it go this low without something on the immediate horizon. I would expect an announcement that will cut the dividend, otherwise there would have been support at 4.5%.
I feel the way most of you feel, this was one of the stocks in my portfolio that I didn't have to worry about other than just a normal manageable correction. This is interesting and unexpected. My 7000 shares look pretty silly (and cheap) at this time.
