Got my annual report Saturday, and, overall it was favorable. Earnings (cash flow) and dividends too close, so I don't expect a div. increase anytime this year. Stock price has moved up. Probably stay in the 9 area. Would not be surprised to see a larger reit try to buy them out.
No buyout. All Landy all the time, to much Landy stock in Landy hands. If you have ever talked to these people they are mean and impatient, with no time for little people, which is sort of odd since they are little Reit. This thing hits $10 or close my sell order is in.
I really don`t care about their dispositions, pleasant or unpleasant. I first got into Monmouth 13 years ago, have added now and then, and have gotten exactly what I`d hoped for: A nice dividend and capital appreciation as gravy.
I hope they don`t get bought out because the acquiring company would probably not pay as high a dividend or would take it private. The buyout price would likely be not that big a premium.
